The role
As a systems-level engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize software that interfaces ML accelerators with high-speed networks.
You will work across kernel-space and user-space networking, including TCP/IP internals, XDP/eBPF, io_uring, and epoll.
Responsibilities include building accelerator-aware drivers and abstractions for collectives and RPC in distributed ML workloads.
You will diagnose and resolve networking issues across OSI layers 2-4 and optimize performance with NICs, DPDK, and RDMA.
A strong emphasis on memory management, lock-free data structures, and NUMA-aware programming in a systems language (C/C++ with Rust exposure).
This role requires a passion for debugging multi-layered, distributed systems and collaborating with researchers and engineers to deliver reliable, scalable networking software.
