The role
Act as the licensed U.S. Customs Broker of record for all customs brokerage activities.
File and supervise entries through ACE/ABI, ensuring compliance with CBP regulations (19 CFR) and trade laws.
Review and approve HTS classifications, customs valuation, country of origin and marking, and PGA requirements (FDA, FCC, EPA).
Manage Power of Attorney (POA) and client compliance documentation.
Serve as the primary liaison with CBP and other government agencies, proactively resolving customs issues.
Develop and maintain SOPs and internal controls; support audits, inquiries, and post-entry corrections; collaborate across operations, sales, and management.
