The role
The Senior Legal Counsel provides expert legal advice on marketing, consumer protection, and intellectual property matters, supporting campaign development from conception to execution. The role involves managing legal and reputational risks, drafting and supervising ASA complaints, and handling complex IP disputes. The candidate works closely with internal teams, contributing to legal transformation initiatives and IP portfolio management, including dispute resolution and contract negotiation. Requirements include a qualified solicitor with strong marketing law experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate independently in a high-volume environment. Experience in intellectual property, dispute management, and the application of AI in legal processes is essential, alongside a pragmatic, collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
