The role
A results-driven Database Administrator and ERP Systems Consultant with experience in managing, optimising, and supporting database environments alongside enterprise application systems such as SAP. Responsible for maintaining high-performing, secure, and reliable database systems while contributing to ERP implementation, support, and business process optimisation. Duties include administering database systems, monitoring performance, designing data models, managing backup and recovery, enforcing security controls, executing SQL queries, diagnosing issues, and supporting system upgrades. The role also involves delivering SAP EWM consulting, supporting end users, and participating in data migration and system integration. Key skills include Microsoft SQL Server management, Linux and Windows Server systems, high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and tools such as SAP EWM and NetSuite ERP. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to improve system efficiency.
