The role
A Joiner / Carpenter role in Birkenhead involves supporting the manufacture and assembly of modular and portable accommodation units, working with wood, metal, and plastics. The position requires interpreting technical drawings, preparing materials, and fitting fixtures, while following production schedules and safety protocols. Candidates should have experience in carpentry, joinery, or related environments, with knowledge of tools, health and safety standards, and interior fitting. Skills in reading drawings, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential. Additional qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or 3, forklift licences, or experience with plumbing and electrical fitting are advantageous. The role is a temporary to permanent opportunity, with work hours from Monday to Friday in a manufacturing setting.
