The role
Lead the technical direction for complex ML projects, balancing trade-offs and guiding team priorities.
Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable ML/software systems with strong architectural justification.
Define problems, create roadmaps, and oversee delivery across multiple workstreams in ill-defined, high-risk contexts.
Drive reusable resources and libraries, mentoring engineers to foster growth and collaboration.
Lead hiring, mentor teams, and champion adoption of new technologies and improved ways of working.
Act as a technical expert and coach for clients, accurately estimating large workstreams and communicating with stakeholders, with eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) for defence projects.
