The role
A Senior MI & Data Analyst in Birmingham supports operational and strategic decision-making by analysing large datasets, identifying trends, risks and opportunities, and transforming data into meaningful insights. The role involves designing reports and dashboards using Power BI, automating reporting processes, and improving data quality through governance initiatives. Strong stakeholder relationship skills and technical expertise in data analysis, Power BI and Excel are essential, along with a good understanding of data security and governance. The analyst will work across teams to understand business needs, provide evidence-based recommendations, and promote data-driven decision making. Continuous improvement and innovation in reporting and analytical capabilities are key responsibilities, requiring problem-solving and analytical thinking.
