The role
As Senior Legal Counsel, Operations, you will provide day-to-day legal support and strategic guidance for distribution, logistics, procurement, and supply chain activities.
Draft, negotiate, and manage high-volume, complex commercial agreements including vendor contracts, inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, transportation (3PL), and data analytics services.
Ensure regulatory compliance across healthcare regulations including FDA governing the Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act, state licensing, anti-kickback statutes, safe harbors, and pharmaceutical distribution requirements.
Advise on operational matters such as inventory management, sourcing, recalls, and supply chain disruptions while proactively identifying risks and developing compliant policies.
Oversee contract lifecycle management, support cross-functional teams, and liaise with outside counsel to control costs and strategic direction.
Requirements include a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, active license to practice in the state of employment (or ability to become licensed), 6–8 years of relevant experience in corporate operations or supply chain law, and strong knowledge of UCC and logistics contracts.
