The role
Own project-level general ledger activity for active development projects from pre-development through closeout, ensuring accurate postings and timing.
Prepare and analyze monthly project financials, highlighting variances, trends, and items needing discussion.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand project activity and resolve accounting questions.
Conduct budget-to-actual analyses and provide clear explanations for changes in costs and timing.
Support month-end close with accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules; track costs, commitments, and funding sources.
Assist with construction draws, pay applications, and lender reporting requirements.
