The role
A Senior Electrical & Mechanical Estimator develops and manages accurate, risk-informed capital cost estimates for complex multidisciplinary projects. The role involves leading estimation strategies, coordinating inputs from various engineering disciplines, and ensuring estimates adhere to industry standards and best practices. Responsibilities include developing Cost Breakdown Structures aligned with project Work Breakdown Structures, reviewing contractor quotations, and supporting cost assurance activities. The position requires technical leadership, mentoring junior estimators, and presenting findings to stakeholders while continuously improving estimating processes. Strong expertise in cost modelling, risk analysis, and sector-specific estimation techniques is essential. The role supports projects across infrastructure, nuclear, defence, energy, and industrial sectors.
