The role
Develop and maintain accessible, user-facing interfaces using modern HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with emphasis on responsive design.
Build UI components using CSS frameworks (LESS, SASS) and libraries such as Bootstrap and jQuery to deliver scalable web experiences.
Create and consume RESTful APIs, ensure code quality with Git/GitHub, and collaborate within Scrum or Lean environments.
Guarantee WCAG 2.1 Level A/AA compliance, conduct manual accessibility testing with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, Narrator, VoiceOver), and address 508 requirements.
Translate static designs into functional layouts, and work with full-stack templates when applicable.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in IT or engineering and a minimum of four years in front-end development, with on-site presence in the Los Angeles area two days per week.
