The role
Hands-on Industrial Engineer focused on improving planning, building, and measuring work on the shop floor.
Validate, establish, and maintain production part times (routing/operation standards) to support scheduling and capacity planning.
Conduct time studies and document methods, updating standards with current best practices.
Map processes, identify waste, and implement improvements in layout, material flow, and standard work.
Lead root cause analysis for scrap, downtime, and missed schedules using structured tools and track corrective actions.
Collaborate cross-functionally to train operators, sustain gains, and improve schedule attainment and capacity accuracy.
