The role
Lead day-to-day operation of the Finance Department with oversight of payroll, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, employee benefits, budgeting, and grant accounting.
Prepare and present CAFR and related financial reports to federal, state, and local agencies.
Oversee the Revenue Division including business licenses, utility billing, and parking citations, ensuring accurate cash handling.
Assist in the development and administration of the City's budget and perform financial analysis for projects and cost-benefit evaluations.
Supervise, train, and evaluate staff; maintain internal controls and ensure timely, accurate financial transactions; liaise with auditors.
Contribute to special projects, prepare management reports, and support service contracts; serve as Deputy in the Director's absence.
