The role
Develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend applications with a focus on RESTful APIs and scalable data access.
Design and implement server-side components using Java, J2EE, and frameworks such as Spring MVC; ensure clean, maintainable code.
Integrate with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and optimize data access layers and queries.
Participate in all SDLC activities and Agile processes, including code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and robust APIs.
On-site role in Woodbury, NY with availability for occasional off-hours support and strong communication skills.
