The role
A Cloud Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining cloud platforms, primarily using Kubernetes, Terraform, and other cloud-native tools. The role entails collaborating with development teams to optimise infrastructure and microservices architecture, including coding in Python, TypeScript, and Golang. The engineer will manage automation, deployment, and configuration of cloud environments, focusing on reliability and scalability. Candidates should possess technical skills in Kubernetes, EKS, Helm, Istio, Flux, and ELK, alongside a good understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures. This position allows remote work with minimal in-person meetings, and values flexibility in working hours for work-life balance.
