The role
A Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer is responsible for providing technical advice on geotechnical and contaminated land issues across diverse projects in Manchester. They manage site investigation contracts, oversee ground investigation design, and prepare reports such as Phase 1 and Phase 2 assessments. The role involves managing investigation contractors, ensuring project safety and efficiency, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. Candidates should have relevant scientific degrees, chartered status or working towards it, and experience in geo-environmental projects and reports. Skills required include project management, technical expertise in GQRA and DQRA, and familiarity with relevant British Standards. A collaborative and proactive approach is essential for supporting team development and client engagement.
