The role
A Senior Software Engineer is sought in Manchester to develop and maintain mission-critical full-stack applications for a global ratings agency. They will work on backend services using Python and Java, and frontend applications in React, within a cloud-based environment leveraging AWS and Kubernetes. The incumbent is expected to write clean, scalable code, participate in CI/CD processes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient solutions. Essential skills include expertise in Python, ReactJS, databases, and cloud technologies, along with strong software design principles. The role demands effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ongoing learning in emerging technologies. Emphasis is placed on maintaining system reliability, improving application performance, and supporting innovative data and AI integrations.
