The role
A Rheumatology Consultant position is available in Leicester for a full-time NHS locum within an acute setting. The role involves providing rheumatology expertise, managing clinical duties, and supporting the multi-disciplinary team with no out of hours or weekend work apart from a 1 in 5 weekday on-call. Candidates must hold GMC registration, have UK clinical experience, and possess the legal right to work in the UK. The position operates from Monday to Wednesday, 0900 to 1700, with a work plan including 60% rota, three clinics weekly, and SPR support. It is set to commence as soon as possible for an initial period of four months, with an hourly rate between £90 and £100.
