The role
The Site Procurement Specialist at GSK in Ware supports site procurement activities by collaborating with functional areas and global teams to optimise vendor performance and supply security. The role involves managing initiatives related to cost savings, quality, service, innovation, and sustainability, whilst working with stakeholders up to senior level. Candidates should have strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with procurement processes such as sourcing, negotiation, and supplier reviews is advantageous, although a high learning agility can compensate. The position requires a proactive, numerate professional capable of driving cross-functional and global partnership initiatives to meet business goals.
