The role
An environmental engineer is responsible for managing geo-environmental, contaminated land and geotechnical projects from inception to completion. The role involves designing, procuring, and supervising site investigations and remediation works, alongside interpreting ground investigation data. Candidates will prepare and review technical reports, develop risk assessments, and manage project budgets, programmes, and resources. Technical leadership and maintaining high standards in safety, health, and environmental compliance are key duties. The position requires a relevant degree, UK consultancy experience, and strong report-writing skills, with chartered status being highly advantageous.
