The role
Scotsdalegardencentre requires amicable and dependable shop floor cashiers to cover weekend shifts in Glasgow during the autumn and winter months. The role involves greeting customers, processing transactions at the till, and maintaining a tidy, attractive shop environment. When activity is quieter, the cashier will support the wider team by assisting customers, restocking displays, and performing general retail duties. Candidates should possess good communication skills, be customer-focused, and able to work as part of a team. Knowledge of POS systems, retail procedures, and cash handling is preferred. The position offers an hourly rate of £12.25, with age-related pay variations.
