The role
Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment for infants and toddlers.
Provide warm, responsive guidance and strong classroom leadership to support the children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
Lead and collaborate with assistants to ensure high-quality care while adhering to licensing and program standards.
Plan developmentally appropriate activities and responsive routines that foster attachment and learning.
Communicate effectively with families and administration to track progress and address needs.
Demonstrate knowledge of infant/toddler development, health and safety requirements, and best practices in early childhood education.
