The role
Understand and explore client data to plan the data science approach.
Clean, validate, and preprocess data using shell scripts and Python/Java/Scala.
Engineer features and tune model parameters to improve accuracy and robustness.
Train, evaluate, and iterate ML models (including tree-based methods and deep learning) while avoiding overfitting.
Communicate findings and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders to guide decisions.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, risk managers from client teams and with cross-functional groups to improve processes, tooling, and best practices.
