The role
The Duty Manager oversees hotel operations during shifts, supporting teams across reception, housekeeping, and the restaurant to ensure excellent guest experiences. They provide leadership through briefings and coaching, resolve guest issues, and monitor safety protocols. The role involves multitasking in busy service periods, managing problems proactively, and maintaining high standards. Candidates with leadership experience in customer-facing sectors such as retail, hospitality, or healthcare are encouraged to apply. Confidence in decision-making, calmness under pressure, and a proactive attitude are essential for success. No previous hotel experience is needed as training and support are provided to develop relevant industry skills.
