The role
A QA Tester will participate in designing reviews, test planning, and documentation assessments. They develop and implement software test plans, designs, and automated testing procedures while performing both automated and functional page-by-page analysis. The role requires designing and executing test cases in a rapid prototyping environment with minimal supervision, documenting issues into the tracking system, verifying resolutions, and updating problem statuses. Candidates should possess knowledge of verification and validation, alongside experience in design of experiments, and the ability to quickly adapt to new disciplines. Skills include understanding object-oriented programming, troubleshooting, and cross-platform testing across Unix and Windows. Strong communication skills, motivation, creativity, and thoroughness are essential, supported by familiarity with the software development cycle and agile testing practices.
