Electrician 7345 - Temporary Provisional

Under general supervision, performs skilled electrical work installing, maintaining, repairing, and altering electrical systems up to 12,000 volts and related equipment; may supervise craftsmen involved in such work. Troubleshoots energized circuits using appropriate PPE and works with high-voltage equipment (277V-480V), traffic signal systems, and UPS. Cuts, bends, and installs rigid conduit and EMT; pulls current-carrying conductors and sets up ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, and light towers. Installs and maintains lighting, transformers, PLCs, motors and motor controls, process controls, life-safety systems, and related equipment; performs testing and inspections. Rigging and installing heavy materials (light poles, transformers) and coordinating with time-entry systems and reporting; communicates via radios and phones. Works outdoors in extreme weather, may rotate shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime; Camp Mather assignment may be required with food and lodging provided.
