The role
Provide high-quality ophthalmic patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting outpatient clinics, pre-assessments, and operating lists.
Conduct diagnostic testing in clinic, including Biometry, OCT, A-Scan, Visual Fields, Pentacam, Visual Acuity, IOP, and Topography.
Assist patients on surgery days with effective communication, and deliver pre- and postoperative care within your competence.
Handle patient enquiries, refer to a medical practitioner when needed, and promote health information related to ophthalmic surgery.
Demonstrate strong organization, forward planning, attention to detail, and the flexibility to adapt to patients' needs under pressure.
