The role
Provide accurate real-time interpretation between individuals who do not share a common language, preserving meaning, intent, and tone.
Clarify cultural concepts and non-verbal cues to facilitate cross-cultural understanding when necessary.
Maintain strict confidentiality and impartiality in all interactions, in line with applicable laws and professional standards.
Complete required logs, reports, and documentation following agency and contractual protocols.
Demonstrate bilingual proficiency and professional conduct in diverse settings, including on-site assignments.
Be on-call and travel-ready, with potential for after-hours or weekend assignments as mission needs require.
