The role
An information security analyst will be responsible for safeguarding critical infrastructure, networks, and data from cyber threats, monitoring security systems for suspicious activities, and responding to security incidents. They will conduct vulnerability assessments, manage identity and access controls, and research emerging threats to recommend security improvements. The role involves evaluating new security technologies and producing security reports for a range of audiences. It requires technical expertise in infrastructure, networking, and security standards, along with experience in incident response and use of security tools. The analyst will support internal audits and respond to social engineering threats, working within a hybrid environment with occasional travel.
