The role
Be the lead engineer on a small team, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring best development practices.
Be hands-on and drive day-to-day architecture decisions, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation.
Maintain current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology and evaluate new capabilities.
Communicate with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements and shape product strategy.
Focus on ultra-high performance data paths, optimizing data structures, assembly, and vectorization for millions of packets per second.
Drive design and implementation of SDN-enabled networking features with emphasis on security, observability, and scalability.
