The role
Lead and review policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations; propose updates to senior management and the board.
Oversee the BSA/AML/OFAC program, align with industry best practices, and coordinate regulatory guidance.
Administer training programs for directors, management, and staff; provide ongoing BSA guidance.
Perform daily monitoring of reports and transactions to identify suspicious activity; file CTRs and investigate SARs when applicable.
Evaluate products, processes, and procedures to ensure compliant operations; communicate changes clearly and implement them across departments.
Support examinations and audits, conduct spot checks, coordinate fraud investigations, and oversee vendor management and record retention policies.
