The role
Lead the development of state-of-the-art visual design capabilities to empower users to create structured, graphic-rich media.
Drive modeling and experimentation for Gemini models, delivering editable and interactive content such as slides, posters, and illustrations.
Collaborate closely with Gemini and GemPix teams to accelerate design intelligence while prioritizing user privacy and regulatory considerations.
Mentor junior engineers, uphold ML best practices, and help define technical roadmaps and execution plans.
Architect scalable solutions that meet product needs and minimize privacy and legal risks in media generation.
Proactively propose new research topics, align with product goals, and deliver impactful, design-oriented AI capabilities.
