The role

A Duty Manager is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of a hotel, ensuring high standards of service across all departments. They act as the main point of contact for guests, resolving issues and maintaining guest satisfaction. The role involves coordinating with departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance to ensure seamless operations. Duty Managers carry out regular hotel walkarounds to uphold standards of presentation, cleanliness, and safety, handling guest enquiries and complaints professionally. They monitor occupancy, arrivals, departures, and VIP guests to ensure operational readiness and respond to emergencies following company procedures. The position requires managing shift reports, handovers, and supporting departmental managers to achieve operational and guest satisfaction targets while demonstrating leadership and decision-making skills.
