The role
The Assistant Electrician supports safe operation and maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
Assist with daily tasks, preventative and reactive maintenance, and project work, prioritizing sustainable practices.
Perform electrical tasks such as wiring ballast or transformer kits, running wires, troubleshooting, and installing motors.
Collaborate with staff and contractors, manage work orders, and assist with parts research and inventory management.
Maintain safety standards, use PPE, identify hazards, and support public programs, tours, and events as needed.
Maintain professionalism, adapt to field conditions, and contribute to records and standard operating procedures.
