The role
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will design and deploy data-driven models for model predictive control in a production-scale metal 3D printing system.
You will integrate data models and physics-based simulations into a unified framework and develop a deep learning approach to model laser-melting physics.
You will create unsupervised learning methods to relate process data to part quality and to correlate process data with geometric features.
Collaborating with simulations engineers and software teams, you will translate models into production-ready software and guide the big data infrastructure.
You will contribute to machine health monitoring modules and help scale end-to-end automation of the platform.
A strong foundation in physics-informed ML, pattern recognition, and deep learning, with Python and C++ proficiency, is required.
