The role
The role involves supporting a family by maintaining high standards of indoor cleanliness, organisation, and household logistics as they transition locations. Duties include cleaning, laundry, ironing, organising wardrobes, and running errands such as grocery shopping. The ideal candidate will be confident in outdoor tasks related to garden and pet care, including maintaining a vegetable patch and caring for animals. The position requires flexibility with hours, starting part-time until May before moving to full-time, with weekend availability being advantageous. Skills in cleaning methods, organisation, and animal handling are essential, alongside being proactive and child-friendly to collaborate effectively with existing staff. Experience in household management and outdoor maintenance is preferred, with a driver’s licence considered a bonus.
