The role
Define and lead the technical vision for foundation model applications (LLMs, VLMs, multi-modal models) in manufacturing AI.
Research, prototype, and deploy state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms for industrial computer vision, video understanding, and anomaly detection.
Partner with strategic customers and ISV partners to co-develop AI solutions in real-world manufacturing environments with production-grade quality.
Collaborate cross-functionally with research, software, and product teams to shape the future of the Metropolis manufacturing AI platform.
Drive thought leadership through publications and patents; mentor and guide junior engineers to raise technical capabilities.
Ensure scalable, robust AI systems from concept to production and continually improve engineering practices within the team.
