The role
In this hybrid role, you will develop evaluation frameworks for autonomous vehicle performance and large-scale ML models, including the quality of simulation.
You will invent metrics, interpret trends, and investigate anomalies in data from simulation and on-road driving.
You will design novel statistical methods tailored to AV data, such as rate estimation for rare events and combining real and synthetic data.
You will scope technical priorities, frame ambiguous problems, and derive data-driven conclusions to guide decisions.
You will communicate findings to senior stakeholders and serve as the project lead for a major data science effort.
You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure deployment readiness and mentor other data scientists.
