The role
Lead and contribute as the chemical process engineer on multidisciplinary project teams, delivering safe and efficient process design for new or modified facilities.
Prepare and modify process flow diagrams and piping & instrumentation drawings in CAD (PFDs and P&IDs) to meet project scope.
Perform material and energy balance calculations, develop process equipment specs, and create instrument and equipment datasheets.
Develop and manage project schedules using MS Project, and produce technical documentation for equipment and systems.
Conduct hazard analyses (HAZOP, PHA, FMEA) and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (API 520/521/2000, ASME VIII, ASME I).
Requires a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (ABET-accredited), 10+ years of experience, CAD proficiency, PE license or ability to obtain, and strong communication and organizational skills.
