The role
Lead engineering teams to manage complex transportation projects within an $800M, 5-year program, ensuring scope, cost, and schedule adherence.
Provide technical guidance and oversee the project development process, including QA/QC of documents and plans.
Navigate IDOT Phase I and Phase II requirements for local, state, and federally funded projects.
Engage with stakeholders—municipalities, residents, businesses, and internal staff—to ensure successful project delivery.
Balance office responsibilities with occasional field work and attendance at public meetings.
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering required; licensure (EIT/PE) preferred; strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
