The role
Join a core algorithm team focused on optimizing user experience in search and recommendation, building a full-stack search engine system powered by AI.
Develop industry-leading search and recommendation algorithms using cutting-edge information retrieval and machine learning techniques to tackle trillion-scale index libraries, trillion-parameter models, and ultra-long user sequences.
Explore how large-scale models reshape search, recommendation, and ranking, leveraging world knowledge embedded in these models, including short-video multimodal understanding, generative models, scaling laws, sparse MoE, and reinforcement learning.
Align with product objectives, applying modern ML, AI, NLP/CV techniques to improve query understanding, video understanding, and multiple levels of result ranking.
Work cross-functionally with teammates to translate requirements into scalable engineering and deliverables across the ranking stack.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; proficient coding in C++/Python/Java; solid ML knowledge and practical experience. Preferred: effective communication and teamwork; modeling experience in Ads, Search, Recommender Systems, NLP/CV.
