The role
A financial data analyst in Leicester works with large datasets to develop models, dashboards, and automate reporting processes, aimed at improving business insights. The role involves understanding business needs and creating practical solutions using tools like Power BI and Excel, with an emphasis on data analysis, modelling, and automation. The analyst will support senior leadership by delivering clear and useful reports and enhancing team capabilities in Power BI and Excel. There is scope to explore AI applications across finance functions and innovate reporting techniques. Candidates should have excellent skills in Power BI and Excel, and experience working with extensive data, although finance experience is not mandatory. The position offers hybrid work options and a salary up to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits.
