The role
The role involves leading mechanical engineering design activities within water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence from feasibility to construction stages. Responsibilities include producing technical calculations, specifications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring engineers. The engineer will support continuous improvement initiatives and develop client and stakeholder relationships. The position requires extensive experience in mechanical design, industry standards knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Candidates should hold a relevant degree and be chartered or working towards chartership, with additional experience in water projects being desirable.
