The role
A position is available for a brass musician and teacher to deliver high-quality musical education in Stirling. The role involves providing instrumental lessons, general musicianship sessions, and group teaching within an afterschool programme, alongside home visits and community performances. Candidates should possess a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, with proven professional performance experience, and experience in teaching children and young people on their instrument. The successful applicant will be committed to social and community engagement through music and capable of working with diverse groups. This is a permanent role requiring two or three days per week, with responsibilities adaptable to individual skills and interests. The position aims to foster confidence, respect, teamwork, and aspiration through musical activities within local communities.
