The role
Provide professional translation, interpretation, transcription, and gist/summarization of Arabic-language materials (Moroccan, Tunisian, Libyan, Algerian) into English and vice versa.
Capture subtle dialectal nuances, cultural references, and geopolitical context to ensure contextual accuracy.
Deliver high-quality reports and briefings, with terminology aligned to subject matter norms and standard usage.
Perform consecutive interpretation, with occasional simultaneous interpretation as required.
Demonstrate strong transcription, summarization, and data extraction skills from large audio or text datasets.
Be prepared for travel (OCONUS where required) and to adhere to security, confidentiality, and program requirements.
