The role
Provide high-quality Spanish interpretation for court sessions and City of Chicago meetings in person.
Perform simultaneous and/or consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish.
Support Cook County Courts and civic engagements with accurate, confidential interpretation.
Maintain professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
Available for part-time or full-time assignments with reliable daily availability and suitable transportation.
Requires fluency in Spanish and English with at least 1 year of freelance interpretation; certification or 2+ years experience earns premium rates.
