The role
Collaborative summer internship/co-op for an Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Hydrogeologist to apply academic knowledge to real-world environmental projects.
Conduct fieldwork (up to 50%), including soil and groundwater sampling, drilling oversight, and contractor coordination.
Assist with engineering calculations, design, and research, and prepare technical reports, plans, specifications, and proposals.
Manage data, create maps, tables, and figures, and support data analysis for project deliverables.
Interact with engineers, scientists, and field staff; participate in local travel to project sites and complete OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
Full-time, approximately 13 to 15 weeks in summer 2026; relocation and housing are not provided.
