The role
A senior data protection officer is required to support the University of Nottingham's privacy compliance initiatives over a 12-month period. The role involves reviewing privacy notices and Records of Processing Activities to ensure legislative adherence, particularly to UK GDPR Articles 13, 14, and 30. The successful candidate will review and develop policies, conduct data mapping exercises, and provide expert advice on compliance matters. Extensive experience in data protection within large organisations and in-depth knowledge of UK GDPR are essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, project management capabilities, and proficiency in data management tools.
