The role
Roku's data engineering team develops scalable, fault-tolerant big data platforms to support various business initiatives across devices and clients. The role involves designing and building data pipelines, models, and solutions that enhance data quality and resilience, supporting petabyte-scale data warehouses. Candidates should possess strong SQL and Python skills, alongside experience with big data technologies like Spark, Kafka, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. A background in data modelling and a degree in Computer Science are essential for success. The position is hybrid, based from the Manchester office, with flexible remote work options on Fridays.
