The role
Develop and manage Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), and Product Category Rules (PCRs) in alignment with global standards.
Define scope, impact categories, and methodologies for LCAs; collaborate with external consultants and program operators.
Collect, validate, and interpret environmental data from suppliers, facilities, and logistics to ensure data quality and robust assumptions.
Analyze results with LCA tools (SimaPro, GaBi) and translate insights into actionable steps to reduce environmental impact.
Mentor cross-functional product teams and embed sustainability considerations early in design and development.
Stay informed on regulations, climate trends, energy, materials management, and end-of-life developments to support sustainability strategy and disclosures.
